EDF-STORE Project presentation by Samuel Legoupil THALES

“The STORE project aims to build a shared and scalable database that can scale over time.” Samuel Legoupil, Project Coordinator of STORE.

Launched in December 2023, the STORE project, funded by the European Defence Fund, aims to develop AI-based image recognition systems for the detection of threats (drones, drone swarms, vehicles, hypersonic threats, etc.) and to build a shared and scalable defense image database to address the evolution of threats in various land environments.

By combining cutting-edge optronic technology with artificial intelligence, the project aims to enhance decision-making, responsiveness, and survivability for European armed forces.

Under Samuel’s leadership, the STORE project has:
🔹 Unified 21 partners across 9 European countries.
🔹 Built a shared and secure defense image database at the European level.
🔹 Explored advanced AI solutions for threat detection in various environments.
