The STORE project is making remarkable progress, and we are excited to share some significant milestones that highlight the innovation and collaboration driving this initiative forward. Recently, we held the Consortium General Assembly from November 26 to 28 at Kongsberg, Norway, where we discussed new advancements and showcased first results, including first AI models integrated in the AI Software Factory (AISF) and a prototype of the Database Framework (DBF).
Successful consortium General Assembly
The STORE Project Consortium General Assembly was an important event, bringing together key stakeholders and experts from across the project. It was a valuable opportunity for intensive discussions, informative presentations, and collaborative exchanges, all aimed at pushing the boundaries of tactical operations. One of the key highlights was the presentation of first results from the AI Software Factory, including an initial detection model.

We are grateful to all attendees for their contributions and commitment to the project’s success. This event marked a pivotal moment in our journey to create cutting-edge solutions for enhancing tactical decision-making worldwide.
The first prototype of the database framework
In addition to the General Assembly, another exciting milestone has been reached: the first prototype of the Database Framework (DBF) is now available. This prototype is a crucial step toward developing a scalable and secure data management solution for the STORE project.

Key features of the DBF prototype include:
- A scalable, standards-compliant framework that supports seamless data querying, publication, and downloading.
- Independent implementations from GMV, Kongsberg, and STAM, each based on different technologies, showcasing the interoperability and adaptability of the system.
- The first steps toward providing an integrated data management and sharing solution, tailored to meet the needs of the STORE AI Teams and aligned with European standards.

These milestone demonstrates progress in developing a robust, distributed database architecture and intuitive tools for data sharing. It is a pivotal moment in achieving the STORE project’s vision of advanced data management solutions for AI applications, setting the stage for future developments that will ensure efficiency and security.
Looking ahead
These milestones highlight the rapid progress we are making toward the STORE project’s goals. The AI Software Factory’s early detection model and the DBF prototype are just the beginning of the cutting-edge technologies that will shape the future of tactical operations.
We are grateful to all our collaborators for their hard work and dedication in making these accomplishments possible. As we continue to enhance these solutions, we are excited to share more updates in the near future.
