European Commission launches the STORE (Shared daTabase for Optronics image Recognition and Evaluation) project which puts AI at the heart of combat situation perception. Gathering 21 industry players and research institutes from 9 European countries, the project aims to build a shared image database, and to develop and evaluate artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms dedicated to the analysis and processing of data from ground platform imaging systems.
