Cybernetica AS is a R&D intensive ICT company that develops and sells mission-critical software systems and products, maritime surveillance and radio communications solutions. Cybernetica’s business model is taking new technologies from fundamental research to the market. All  Cybernetica departments are active in customer-driven R&D. The Information Security Institute develops fundamental technologies and is actively engaged in academic publishing and international R&D projects with European Commission, DARPA, ESA and Estonian agencies. Research goals are related to cryptography (Public Key Infrastructure, time-stamping, digital identity, secure computation), database security, language-based security, security analysis of programs and protocols, cybersecurity, privacy-enhancing technologies and machine learning.
